Quaker's Skill for the Amazon Echo

The Amazon Echo is becoming an increasingly brand-friendly platform to reach consumers at home. Its hands-free, voice-controlled, wireless capabilities make it the perfect fit for the kitchen. We were one of the first to tap into this technology with a Quaker "skill", which is pretty much Amazon's version of an app. It lets customers easily find delicious Quaker recipes and helps them make it one step at a time.

We were invited to launch the skill at the futuristic Mashable House at SXSW 2016, an annual film, interactive and music festival in Austin, Texas. The event involved a giant tent with a schmoozey room where festival-goers could create their own overnight oats concoctions at the ‘toppings bar’ with a little help from the Echo.

The event went off with a bang and was featured in Adweek. Check it out.
